In celebration of the International Polar Year, the Exploratorium teamed up with scientists working in the Arctic and Antarctica to showcase current polar research. The media created by our scientist-correspondents and the Exploratorium’s media producers—photographs, videos, and audio clips—will soon be available as a searchable collection for use and download by teachers, students, media producers, and nonprofit groups.

Check back in the spring for the full media collection, which will include thousands of photos, videos, and audio clips integrated into a fully searchable, browsable, and user-friendly database.
